An avid collaborator, Camila Agosto fuses her music with other artistic mediums. Within her works, Camila often employs extended instrumental techniques and exhibits a particular emphasis on the exploration of different timbral and textural elements. Through her collaborations, Camila has worked with choreographers, visual artists, and film directors on a variety of multimedia projects. Recent projects include todavi_a, a new work for small ensemble commissioned by National Sawdust, Rift, a duo for bass clarinets commissioned by Miller Theatre at Columbia University, and imprint, a duo for flute and cello commissioned by Berrow Duo. Camila is the co-founder of Sense Baltimore, an interdisciplinary arts series which seeks to cultivate relationships between visual artists, musicians, and performers throughout Baltimore. A current Master's degree candidate at the Peabody Institute, she studies with composer Oscar Bettison, and was a recent recipient of the Randolph S. Rothschild Scholarship.
